This game is a lot of fun. It's seems like a good racing game that blends with Starfox 64.

It was an outstanding experience to navigate the island and experiment with controls. The boosting and brake seem to get stuck sometimes when using Xbox controller. Keyboard and mouse were very clunky - controller experience is great!

The gem placement seemed off too - What is the objective of this game? Time, or enemies or both? Maybe that is part of the appeal for your future? Will this be a competitive game or a narrative driven game?

It would be neat to see a battle multiplayer racing shooter where you could shoot at the other racers throwing them off a little bit.

Either way, I am incredibly excited to see what Prototype 2 or Final looks like.

Great job love this game!

Amni3D responds:

The idea behind it was to make a "3D shmup that I'd like to play" while giving it more of a flight aspect. Problem is I ended up falling into an entirely different set of design issues, and it got stuck in dev hell. I've always got ideas that I put to the test, but sadly R&D doesn't always come out fruitful.

I've been developing it in the background, but have been prioritizing multiple other prototypes too. Given time I do think Aerial Guard will leave the prototyping phase, but for now it's still under heavy experimentation (and not necessarily in full scale development).

I'm glad you found it fun, even in its current state. Makes me wonder if I'm too picky with my own mechanics..

Wow the controls are so responsive and the animation/playstyle of it is so smooth! Great job!

Gypopothomas responds:

Thanks, man!

Nice!

I remember a while back playing the original "Barbarian Bob" and thinking how hard it was. The difficulty is still the same as before, but I am glad there are difficulty choices now. The animations and actions are all still there and the newly included achievement system adds to this great story. I prefer the first one however, simply because it had more of an epic feel to it. This is a nice addition though! I hope to see more!

Skribble-Style responds:

Fair call, dude.

Glad you enjoyed the game anywho, and cheers for the comment!

Not very good.

This game was simply boring. I did beat it and at the end of it all I expected a grand animated ending. Nothing happened at all! After solving the puzzles and trying to maintain good thoughts about this game nothing was rewarded. The animation there was, was mediocre. The actionscript seemed kind of basic too. The only real advanced actionsript (Or so it appeared) was the camera that watched your mouse everywhere it went. Please improve upon this. I think you should make a sequel and have it have better animation and a slightly better plot.

this was our first encounter with flash. we just wanted to make something that we could comprehend (at the time). We have learned alot more since then.

and thank you for the review

This is really helpful...

I found that this tutorial can really teach someone a lot about flash. The graphics were superb, but the sound I thought was alright. I did not like how the sound need to load. This was really well done. Good Job.

Depredation responds:

I had to do this to get the filesize of the tutorial down, sorry about that. Thanks for the review.

EXCELLENT

My overall score was 16878

CybermonkeyStudios responds:

Nice, our high score is 43,261. It was a fluke.

ok

you improved it a little from the last time. When you right click there is no going forward. But you havent fixed the part of leaving level two:wood. I found a way out.

Psycho responds:

At least now you can just choose to skip the normal mode.

Hmm... pumpkins taking over christmas?

This game was wierd and it was also hard because you move pretty fast. Overall very good job.

oxflash responds:

thanks, ill try slowing it down in version 2, if this turns out well, i will do a version 2 which will be slower and funner.

Preloader...

If this is a quiz about newgrounds then why didnt you have the NG preloader?! It's not that hard either.

Kronzo-Productions responds:

I didn't use flash, so I couldn't. I used KoolMoves.
